A construction partner who engages with the design

Strong architecture needs a delivery team that understands why the detail matters. We engage with drawings, specifications, interfaces and sequencing early, raising practical questions before they become site delays or design compromises.

Our role is collaborative and accountable: protect the intent, make the construction logic clear and give the project team reliable information on which to make decisions.

Pre-construction support

We can contribute during feasibility, developed design or tender. Support can include buildability review, budget development, package and procurement strategy, programme planning, site logistics, tender clarification and early identification of structural or envelope risk.

This input is particularly valuable on projects with complex alterations, bespoke glazing, significant steelwork, constrained access or a detailed relationship between existing and new fabric.

Tendering with clarity

A useful tender is more than a headline figure. We interrogate the available information, identify assumptions and exclusions, and establish where further design or investigation is needed.

The aim is to create a commercially realistic basis for delivery, reduce ambiguity and help the client and consultants understand the decisions that will influence cost and programme.

Structured project delivery

During construction, dedicated site leadership is supported by direct director involvement. Programmes, procurement, technical queries, cost decisions and quality expectations are coordinated through a clear line of responsibility.

We value concise reporting and early escalation. Problems are easier to solve while there are still options available.

For architects and consultants

We are comfortable working within an established professional team and respect the architect’s role in leading the design. Site queries are framed clearly, alternative solutions are assessed against the intent and agreed information is carried through to the trades.

We want the relationship to extend beyond one project. Consistency, transparency and respect for each discipline are the foundation for repeat work.

For landowners and development partners

As the construction arm of Jackson & Co Estates, we bring a development perspective to opportunity assessment and delivery. Land value, planning position, programme, capital exposure and long-term asset performance are considered together.
